Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva was born July 3, 1985, in Moscow. She attended school in London and Moscow, and received the Master's Degree at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. Leyla launched IDEA in July of 2011. The campaign's goal is to increase awareness and promote action on environmental problems in Azerbaijan as well as across the globe. IDEA is focused on youngsters and how they can help solve environmental issues.
She was elected as a representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation to the Russian Federation in May 2007. Leyla Aliyeva Through various projects that span education sciences, sports, and technology the Heydar Aliyev Foundation contributes significantly to the development of the country's socioeconomics. She was appointed Vice-President of the Foundation in 2011.

In 2007, Leyla Aliyeva started the magazine 'Baku' in Moscow. Leyla Aliyeva The English-language version of the magazine, produced in collaboration with Conde Nast, was launched in London in October of 2011. The magazine lets you explore Azerbaijani art, culture in addition to the country. Leyla Aliyeva Leyla launched "Fly to Baku", an exhibit that showcases contemporary art from Azerbaijan, in 2012. Leyla Aliyeva The London launch of the exhibition saw it travel all over Europe, visiting Paris, Berlin and Moscow along with Rome and Vienna.

On May 8th 2008, the anniversary of the occupation of Shusha, Leyla Aliyeva launched the campaign "Justice for Khojaly". This campaign is now in place in more 30 countries. The aim is to increase the awareness of the world community about the Karabakh conflict and the Khojaly Genocide in particular reaching across the globe via media, Internet and Live events.

Leyla Aliyeva became the OIC Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialogue’s general coordinator in the year 2008, and was elected the chairperson of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia on April 18th, 2009. Leyla Aliyeva The organization assists Azerbaijani teens as well as Azerbaijani students living in the Russian Federation. Leyla Ayla Aliyeva received the "Taraggi", award in July 2011 for her contribution to the improvement of Azerbaijani Russian relations. In New York, in November 2011, she received the "Key to Life Award" for her humanitarian efforts with children.

Leyla Alyeva was named UN Food and Agriculture Organization Goodwill Ambassador (FAO) on May 25, 2015.
