family plays an important role in each person’s life. Recently, with the development of the society, there have been a lot of changes in family in comparison with that in the past. As for me, differences between traditional vietnamese family and modern vietnamses family are as follow. Firstly, traditional family often has many generations living in the same house, for example, grandparents, parents and children. Moreover, people tend to spend a lot of time together in a traditional family. Lastly, women’s role in traditional family is, normally, to take care of children and do the house work. Contrastingly, modern family is different. Modern family now is often nuclear family with parents and kids only. On the other hand, because of busy work, members in a modern family spend time together only in the evening or at the weekend when kids are off school and parents are off work. Finally, women in modern family have chances to work outside. They do not have to spend all day staying at home but work in office in stead. In conclusion, modern family is different from traditional one in term of size of the family, the time they spend together and the role of women. I am sure in the future, there will be more changes.
