Back in year 9, I was roughly 50kg and 5'8. I was insecure about my appearance and felt as if I had nothing unique about myself other than the fact that I was just the same basic white boy with a perm. Its not as if I was depressed or nothing like that but I wasn't always in the best state of mind.

I'm sure some of you here can agree that you've felt the same....

I thought that for the rest of my life I wouldn't find any individuality within myself which was true for a while until one day I thought I needed a change, I tried all sorts of activities and for a while I enjoyed most of them, I found a strong passion for boxing with some of my friends and over the course of time I saw a development of my body becoming fitter which lead to me becoming more confident and happier overall.

This further lead on to me beginning to go gym, at this point I had now found my passion in creating a better lifestyle for myself and the people around me by staying positive, Over 80% of people who start gym find themselves feeling more confident and showing much more signs to healthier lifestyles. I Believe that my life was greatly impacted whether that be my appearance, mental health or my social life.

The Main point I'm trying to get across to you all today is that no matter how unmotivated or insecure you feel. There's always someone , something or somewhere that can help you through your struggles. It may seem almost impossible to overcome but the most important thing is to stay positive and dedicated no matter what.
