Understanding Texas Holdem Poker
Poker is an entertaining game that can be rewarded with a lot of money if played well. Poker can be addictive and can lead to gambling addiction. This game can even lead to divorce. If you're not cautious, you may end up just like them.

The action begins with the dealer remaining to the left of the first player in the hand. This player can check or bet (he cannot raise since no bet was made in the round) and he shouldn?t fold as it costs nothing to him to stay in the hands. As in the previous betting round, the play continues clockwise around the table until all players have called, checked or folded and the amount placed in the pot by each player still in the hand is equal.

After the blinds are paid, each person is dealt four cards face down from the dealer. These cards are known by the player's hole (or pocket) cards and must not be seen by other players. To create their final 5-card Poker hand, each player must only use two of the cards. Players have the option of choosing which of their four cards to use. Then, they can combine them with one of the five community cards.

Players can only use three community cards to pair with their hole cards or four cards from each of the boards plus one hole or all five cards on a board if they do not have a five-card hand. The next difference of the Holdem variant with that of the other poker games is the blind structure.
