Hi Lo Poker Is A Winning Strategy
It is important to be familiar with the winning hand rankings. This order is valid for all versions. The following list shows the highest and lowest possible winning hands. The four suits are clubs, diamonds, hearts, and spades.

The action begins with the dealer remaining to the left of the first player in the hand. This player can either check, or bet (he cannot increase as no bets were made in this round). He should also not fold because it does nothing to him to remain in the hand. The play continues clockwise, as in the previous betting round. Each player must call, check, or fold before the pot is full.

The dealer then proceeds to "burn one last card face down on table" and deals the final River card to the board. Although there are now five cards on the table for Texas Holdem, each player can only use three of those cards to make a 5-card poker hand. Poker action begins with the small-blind and the dealer acts last. Check, Bet or Raise. After the final round of betting, the showdown will begin.

The rules for seven card Stud are more complex than those for five card draw. Seven card Stud allows up to eight players to play. Two down, four-up, one up is the most important poker rule. This is the meaning of the lay of the cards, and not anything else.

Players may use only three of the community cards to combine with their hole cards, or four cards from the board plus one hole card, or use all the five cards on the board if no playable five-card hand will be played with the hole cards. The blind structure is the next difference between the Holdem variant and other poker games.
