After delving into dungeon crawling and narrative adventures, Minecraft is getting another unexpected spin-off - this one becoming an action strategy game. PRESTA LIVE The new game is expected in 2023.
Unveiled at today's Xbox-Bethesda showcase, Minecraft Legends is an action-oriented game that blends real-time strategy elements with the world of Minecraft.
A short video of gameplay shows the character riding a horse, leading an army of minions in battle. The character is also able to control the legion in real-time.
As one of the biggest ever games, Minecraft needs little introduction. Its success has led to numerous spin-offs, including Telltale's Minecraft: Story Mode - an adventure with a narrative starring Patton Oswalt to Minecraft Dungeons, which is a dungeon-crawler that we said was a little shallow but "so adorable, and so much fun, it's hard to fault it for taking the safe way."
