Kindle Short Reads - Making Money With Ebooks
It seems that there is some confusion about whether or not you can sell your old Kindle Short Reads through Amazon. In a nutshell, you can't. Short Reads are discontinued under the Kindle Unlimited platform. FACT: The latest system doesn't affect short reads on any other platform or service.

So, how does Amazon feel about Kindle Short Reads? The answer is: They don't. You can still sell kindle short reads and short stories through Amazon. But the marketplace has become quite competitive. Now, there are more services available than ever. That's good news for the buyer.

One of the main problems with Kindle Short Reads was that it used proprietary formatting which made it difficult for others to read the book page lengths. Kindle uses EPUB, or Extensible Document Format, which is different from text files. The problem with this format is that it's not compatible with nearly every computer on the planet, especially those who use the Windows operating system. As a result, those who wanted to read kindle short reads couldn't.

Kindle's new royalty free Kindle Select program solves that problem. With the Kindle Select program, not only can kindle short reads and books using the Kobo reader on the Amazon Kindle, but you can also sell them. Just like with the short story collections that Kindle Short Reads support, you can set the price to your individual price range.

And just like with the short stories collections, you can sell single chapters of your Kobo books or the entire Kindle eBook using the KDP Select method. The way this works is that when you create an article using the Create Short Article option available on the Kindle Store, it goes directly to the Kindle Store as a Kindle Short Read. You can then give that particular book a book title containing the same title as your book and submit it to the Kindle directory using the KDP Select option. Every time someone downloads this book, they can purchase the Kindle edition of that book at a reduced price.

The only difference between Kindle Short Reads and the Kobo eBooks is the royalty payment. With the Kindle Select program, you get instant credit based on the price of the download. This means that even if no one downloads the book, you'll still earn money. On the other hand, with Kobo, you only get credit for the sale, so you won't earn anything unless you have a huge number of people download your book. Still, this is a very generous form of compensation, which makes both books very lucrative options for authors.

The Kindle royalty scheme makes it easy for authors to get paid for their writing. As mentioned above, both Kobo and Kindle Short Reads have a royalty scheme. The Kobo royalty scheme has several different options, which makes it easy for authors to choose. However, if you only intend to publish short stories, then the Kindle format may be more suitable for you. Kindle's royalty scheme, which is based on word length, pays more to shorter book pages while hurting authors who try to publish long stories. This is why most self-publishing authors use the Kindle format for their books.

If you are a writer who is looking for ways to make more money from your work, you should definitely look into publishing short stories on the Kindle. The Kindle has helped many authors make a substantial amount of money, and now with the Kindle Select, you can take advantage of this success. Not only will you be able to reach a larger audience, but you'll also be able to do it without paying overage to pay for advertising. The Kindle is an ideal way for writers to promote their work, and make it easier to get noticed. If you haven't started publishing your short story yet, you really need to do so today.
