CHECK - A player can check if there are no wagers on the current betting round. The act of checking transfers the action to next poker player clockwise from him. A check does NOT forfeit any interest in the pot. It only gives you the right to place a bet. The round is considered complete if all of the players check during the round.

History of the Game It is said that 3 card poker was invented by Derek Webb in the year 1994. This game was previously known by another name, including Brit-Brag and Casino Brag. Webb applied and was granted patents in the United States, United Kingdom and Canada. After that Webb began marketing 3 card poker with Prime Table Games.

Basic poker play is typically played "table stakes", meaning only the chips in play at the beginning of each hand may be used throughout the hand. The table stakes rule has an application called the "All-In" rule, which states that a player cannot be forced to forfeit a poker hand because the player does not have enough chips to call a bet. A player with insufficient chips to call the bet is declared All In. The player is entitled to the portion of pot up until the point of his final bet. All other action involving players is done in a "sidepot", which is ineligible for the All-In player.

The risk of betting large sums on hands that are busted is high. Imagine you were able t raise kings online poker and received three calls. You were then able to see an ace hit a flop, and you still bet. You are now able to re-raise your stake because you are confident you have been defeated. A good player will be able to tell the truth. Impatient players will be unable to see that they aren't in the right place and will continue to play.
