This is a mandatory betting option that replaces the ante. There are two blinds in a game: a large blind and a small one. The blinds form part of the player?s bet and are rotated around the table.

Each player now uses the two cards he has with the three at the table to create their own five-card poker hand. The next round of betting begins with the small blind and bets continue around to the player on the dealer button.
