   I would consider myself as a person who reads in chucks with almost every book i get my hands on. The reason for this is, as shown in the example, I cannot retain knowledge long-term when it comes to reading books. The short-term reading strategy works in just a fantastic way. The reason for this is, when I have read a chapter of something, it is way easier to review that chapter and really dig deep into what I have read. I would make sure to go deep into every aspect of that chapter. When using the chunking method, this will make taking notes or annotations much easier. Annotations is very important when trying to remember details of a story and especially a very long story. Now I am not surprised that I read in chunks. The reason for this is because, I am a very slow reader. it is also very difficult to retain lots of information while reading. So, when I am done reading i tend to find it easier to go back and really just review everything i have read with in the section. To be very honest, i believe that most people read in this type of way. Reading in chunks is how most of my classmates read throughout my entire school year because they found it more beneficial. I most defiantly support this way of writing to the fullest. The reason for this is this writing strategy has been around for lots of decades. so, there is no doubt in my mind that it will not work. But at the end of the day, the chunk method is the best reading strategy for me.
