I am considering setting up a modded server together with 6 friends. I was wondering whether there are any good hosting companies that I could use. The mod pack I am thinking of using is "create together" on curseforge. I don't think cost is an issue. Anything less than or equal to $20.

I've run servers on Apex Hosting and my husband and friends have run others on Bisect Hosting, all with success. You might consider increasing the cpu if you have lag issues. RAM does not always increase performance.
Ram doesn't increase performance. You only need enough RAM to not exceed the threshold for Java garbage collection.
This is not performance. Minecraft Java This isn't performance. While a different gpu won't affect the fps, a gpu that supports dx11 will allow it to run as intended.
It is best to host it yourself.
I decided to set it up myself. I have an old PC that I'm going to use for the server. Are these specs capable of running a modpack?

I have used apex, but was redirected to their billing department not too long ago.
Pebble host has same damn good budget plans if you dont mind a shared cpu (Many users on the same cpu without a hard thread limit) I'm paying 10$ a month for a 10gb server with an unlimited ssd
Do you think it could support 7 players using modded? Are you able to setup mods easily?
