In that case, you will need to learn more about things and portforwanding. Sorry, I can't help.

The second option would be to just rent a minecraft server. I have one for myself and eight friends. It costs just 5 EUR per month. I can stop vanilla for a time and play an adventure game with them if I want.

I am playing on Mac. I created the server.properties folder in order to modify the rules as described in the Map Description. After I finished the fourth line, nothing changed. I don’t know where to find the banned.ips.txt & banned-players.txt directories.

Did you restart the server, and then stop it again? This should create them automatically...

Johni0702 stated: You can also copy+paste it. To paste into the console, rightclick inside it then select "Paste". It will display a few IPs. You want the IP to not start with 0 or 1. Code: ipconfig /all > out.tmp & findstr "IPv4" out.tmp & del out.tmp

In my case my IP is 192.168.178.23 Here is what it looks like: Code: C:UsersUserName>ipconfig /all > out.tmp & findstr "IPv4" out.tmp & del out.tmp IPv4-Adresse . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.178.23(Bevorzugt) IPv4-Adresse . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.56.1(Bevorzugt)

All That I Get is

IPv4 Address . . . . . . . . . . . . 192.168.2.8 (preferred) IPv4 address . . . . . . . . . . . : 25.130.208.111 (preffered)

Watchig explains how to make servers. He advised to rent a server. I recommend McProhosting. There are many dangers associated with hosting a server in your home. 1 you can be DDoS'd. I recommend good hosts like McProhosting because they offer DDoS prevention. And they are very inexpensive, so don't burn out your computer's battery.

Why "Mc pro Hosting's" why not peak "Hosting's" or something?

Stone123 I'm not sure, there are a lot of poor server hosts. I am just trying to point him in the right direction for server hosts

Your LAN IP is the initial one. LAN IPs start with 192.168. The second one is probably hamachi (which uses IPs starting with 25. or 5. ).

Ah, but my build team is already supported and I don't have to pay any additional mounting fees. Also, I am trying setup a LAN.

I host a server with 1GB Ram at Govisible. The server is in Germany. I spend 5EUR per month to maintain a stable server for 7+ persons.

and they don't work?

The Barl-LAN servers are only accessible over your network. Anybody on your network, or using the wifi, can connect to your LAN servers. For a more detailed guide, click here.

Watchig this is a good deal. Keep in mind, however, that one player usually consumes around 75-130 megabytes.

For multiple people to connect through portals and such, you need a program like BungeeCord. BungeeCord is not a plugin. It's also very expensive. You can't host more than one server on your computer (unless you have multi-homed machines). So, the servers like hypixel's are hosted by mcprohosting.

My friend, be patient. Just download the actual server.jar file from the mojang website. Once you have copied your map, you can now use it. Follow the tutorial, but use the map that you have on your old server.
