The Best Minecraft Seeds For 1.19

Finding the best Minecraft seeds is always my first order of business when starting a new world. We have many beautiful slates to help you choose the right canvas for your next survival adventure or creative build. We can show you how to create a lush jungle with temple ruins, isolated islands villages, or just a rare biome near spawn.

Minecraft update: What's the latest? Minecraft skins: Minecraft mods beyond vanilla: Spotlight Minecraft seeds. New worlds Minecraft texture packs. Pixelated Minecraft servers. All cheats

The procedurally generated Minecraft worlds have always fascinated me, but the 1.18 update has made them even more beautiful. I have almost reduced my play time to photographing the perfect mountain ranges. With the Minecraft 1.19 Wild Update arriving, there are plenty of mangrove swamps for you to explore and the deep darkness to explore.

This Minecraft seeds list contains the best of all these worlds, divided into sections: survival and biome, village and novelty. This will allow you to choose your next destination whether you're searching for a home site or just a view. We've also got a section at the end for especially good Minecraft Bedrock seeds from past versions.

How to use Minecraft seeds

Simply put, Minecraft seeds are a string of numbers that dictate an exact Minecraft world for you to load into. You can use these numbers to create a new world. Creators will also share these codes online. You'll find a field to enter your chosen seed in the "More World Options" menu when creating a new world. Using a seed will get you exactly the same world generation as someone else who's used it.

You must ensure that you are using the correct version Minecraft. Otherwise, your seed might not spawn exactly what it needs or could be slightly different.

It's easy to run legacy Minecraft versions. You just need to open the launcher, click "Launch Options", and then "Add a New." You can name it from here, and below that you'll find a drop-down menu with all the previous editions. Simply click on the one you want, then head back to the News section to load the version you need. Let's now take a deeper look at the best Minecraft Seeds.

Minecraft survival seeds

Ancient City at spawning seed

Seed: 7980363013909395816 You will spawn in an open cave near a village. Way beneath your feet will be an ancient city waiting to be found. Teleport to the coordinates of 0 -44 13, if you don't want the digging to be done by yourself, to get to the center.

Survival island

Seed: 2622795609673772012 | Version 1.19

This is a great option for those who love remote survival island seeds. This frozen ocean is your only friend. There are no icebergs around you. You can survive in a small taiga tree.

Private jungle coves

Seed: 2825049098349321056 | Version 1.19

This jungle cove Seed really demonstrates 1.18's beauty. This warm ocean is surrounded by a mountainous jungle and rocky cliff faces. There are large caverns to explore down beneath those stone cliffs, a ruined nether portal on the stony shores, and an expanse of bamboo forest to explore too.

Minimalist Survival Island

Seed: 3366408241916580461 | Version 1.17

This pared-down setting might well inspire some soul-searching. Essential supplies are completely non-existent. When the sky is filled with ocean, where will you find your first piece of wood? Be careful which way you choose to swim. There is an ocean monument out there. But will you be able to see it before the Guardians? This survival seed was originally logged for version 1.7 but we've included the 1.17 view for you here. It's still very minimal in Minecraft survival seed usage!

12-Eye End Portal Seed

Seed: 4776164391216949839 | Version 1.17

These Minecraft seeds, which your world's End Portal generates with all 12 Eyes Of Ender activated and assembled, are extremely rare. Most likely, you won't find one by chance. Here's one you could load up for your own survival adventures. You can reach the fortress by heading to coordinates: X: 1146. Y: 63. Z: 637. Right beneath you is the room adjacent to a fortress's activated End Portal. Before you rush to the dragon, however, you might want to stop by the nearby desert or jungle villages for supplies.

Mansion In The Heartwood

Seed: 110918009997 | Version 1.17

Nothing beats rushing headfirst into a mansion, intent on destroying every Illager (not interchangeable with Villager) that moves. But finding a mansion in survival is no easy feat. It will take hours of searching through every forest hoping to find that mysterious wooden structure. The mansion is conveniently located right at spawn and is surrounded by badlands. The other edge of the forest has a pillager post in case the challenge of the mansion is too much. Good luck!

Minecraft village seeds

Ice spike ringed village

Seed: 105849523 | Version: 1.19

This tundra village is almost entirely covered in ice spikes, making it a frosty place to start the winter. It's a wonderful spot to build in, or just to move in to meet the locals. Outside the ice spike ring is a nearby Pillager outpost, which as of version 1.19 has two captive Allays for you to rescue and befriend.

Ridge village with a lonely Church

Seed: 2416761687223174816 | Version 1.19

Spawning right next to a massive ridgeline, you can explore up and down both sides to see that the village covers both sides, including a lonely church on the far side, all the way down at sea level. The ridge itself is filled with exposed cave entrances and really flexes the new mountainous terrain at 1.18.

Two villages at spawn

Seed: 5725851600822493716 | Version 1.19

If you love villages, this is a perfect 1.18 starting seed. Two Plains villages have spawned very close to one another near your world spawn point. Perhaps you would like to build your own home between the two or go creative and create a road between them. It's a beautiful day in this Minecraft neighborhood.

Island tower village

Seed: -6537256334104833826 | Version 1.19

Minecraft Villages are currently in a bit trouble in 1.18. Here's a great example. The wild tower island, with a village attached, is located in the ocean to the west of your point of spawn. There are houses along the base of the island, at its center, and at its top. It's a great candidate for sculpting into a very cool build.

Mountain valley villages

Seed: 460628901 | Version 1.19

This seed is a great example of the massive new mountains that version 1.18 allows. You'll spawn in the valley at the center of these snowy peaks right beside one of the two villages at the center. Will you ever leave a valley so beautiful as this or create your own sprawling central town? You can get the same wonderful view using the seed in Bedrock.

The image at top of this page shows another mountain valley. However, it is smaller and doesn't include any villages. We found that one with the Java 1.18 seed: -1518287222354709517.

The Township

Seed: 2083747154327962073 | Version 1.16.1

It's easy to find a Minecraft shipwreck that you can explore by looking at this unwrecked ship, which appears to be docked in the village. It's located right by spawn, so you can immediately load up and begin digging through the treasure found on this abandoned and not-so sinken ship. Hey, it might even make a nice home if you decide to move into town. You should note that the placement is not as perfect if you create this seed in 1.17. However you can create your world first in 1.16.1, and then move it to 1.17.

Four villages near spawn

Seed: -4379469131957062683 | Version 1.17

These four villages may or may not all live in harmony, but you can find out yourself right after you begin a world with this Minecraft seed. You will spawn on a cliff to your west of the Taiga Village. Three other village types: the Tundra, Savannah, and Desert are all nearby as well. You can almost spot them all if you squint in the screenshot above. Flip to the next image to see them at sunset with their torches.

Double Village Islands

Seed: 5329177101860618450 | Version 1.16

Island villages are always a neat find, but how about two islands, each with their own village? Even better, they are connected across the water. Better yet, one of them is actually a zombie town. This seed is ripe for a story.

Minecraft biome seed

Mangrove swamp village

Seed: 15481123724087486 | Version: 1.19

You don't have to search for mangrove swamps for hours. This seed will give rise to a village in the midst of a small clearing in the plains.

The screenshot you see above is actually from a 100-block radius east of spawn. This village has mangroves that are encroaching upon its watery dock pathways. Both are great places to settle while you search for new pet Frogs.

Reverse desert oasis

Version 1.19. This is a unique way to turn the common on its head. You will be surrounded by a thick jungle and a donut filled with desert and rivers. This unusual and unique combination of biomes would make a great base or hideout for evil villains. There's even an unusual jungle temple at the edge of this ring.

Bisected badlands islands

Seed: 624411614 | Version 1.19

This is an incredible island that offers a great starting point for a survival trip. With its vast caves and abandoned mineshaft network as well as warm oceans and rare terracottas at surface level, it is truly breathtaking. Even a dirt shack can look like a palace against these cliffs. But you'll need to travel to find trees.

Ice-olation island

Seed: -452616212506859587| Version 1.17

Okay. So. These biomes of icebergs are very cool. They are not only a source of dreadful fear, but they can also be used to build homes. Who doesn't want to live in an ice castle? This seed is unique because it spawns on tiny islands, just like other seeds. Only with this seed, turn in any direction and all you see is ice spikes. It's not going to be easy to survive this seed. Try to make friends with the polar bears on the floe next door, perhaps.

Giant mushroom donut

Seed: -6316420307748711466 | Version 1.17

If you want to chow down on one of Minecraft's rarest biomes, this enormous donut-shaped Mushroom island is the treat you're looking for. You will spawn on this huge island, which is full of giant fungi and Mooshroom cows. You will find some underwater ruins if your head is towards the center.

Minecraft novelty seeds

The Minecraft title screen

Seed: 2151901553968352745

After years of trying to find it, a group of determined Redditors finally found the Minecraft seed that will take you to the title screen's location. It's a historic moment in Minecraft's history and if you've always wanted to actually explore the blurry landscape behind the game's iconic text, now you can.

Minecraft Bedrock seeds and Pocket Edition seeds

Now that Mojang have unified all the non-Java versions together as the Bedrock version, these Minecraft seeds will all work on your Pocket Edition Minecraft, Windows 10 version, and console versions as well.

Stronghold spawn Seed

Seed: -160471485 | Version 1.17

If you want to make a mad dash for the end, this is a great seed to do it on. You'll spawn right beside a zombie village, beneath which is an end portal at coordinates (899, 47, 38). You might want go to the nearby savannah village, which is located across the small bay from your spawn point.

Biome Melting Pot

Seed: 2111844826 | Version 1.17

Although the Bedrock edition seeds won't take you to your desired location, it is definitely worth teleporting. After you have spawned, you can use the /tp command (-185.64.117). You will be right at the edge in a mushroom biome. This area overlooks a small ocean that contains a badlands biome. It also includes a jungle, tundra, mountains, and even ice spikes. It's quite a lot of rare, desirable biomes all tucked into one area-perfect for anyone looking to sample just a little bit of almost everything Minecraft has to offer. If you head into the ice spikes, you'll find a tundra village not too far away too.

Arctic Survival Island

Seed: 1669737730 | Version 1.17

Here's a Bedrock edition if you like the look of the isolated arctic island seed for Java. This island of medium size is completely surrounded by an iceberg-free ocean. There are plenty of trees on this island and plenty of space. You can also find many underwater wrecks and ocean ruins nearby. Once you've conquered that, there are some dark forests to be found on other shores. It's quite far from civilization, so you shouldn't expect to find a village unless it takes you a very long boat ride.
