Channel 9 News Announces Changes to Its News Service

In 2006, WCCO news changed its schedule, moving the 5 PM news to 6 pm. It is still simulcast on both radio and television. However, Shelby is no longer a part of the 5 pm newscast. She now focuses only on the 10:00 newscast on television. In May 2010, she announced her retirement after 32 years at WCCO.


KOAT-TV is a local television station in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is an affiliate of ABC and is owned by Hearst Television. The studios and transmitter are located in northeast Albuquerque. The network is known for its unbiased reporting.


Freshman defensive back David Daniel was recently injured in a car accident on the UGA campus. He was struck by a Toyota Prius near the intersection of Carlton Street and Sanford Drive. Daniel was walking toward Stegeman Coliseum when the accident occurred. According to police, Daniel was looking right for eastbound traffic when he was hit by the Toyota. As a result, he collided with the car's windshield and was thrown onto the ground. He was conscious when police arrived, but suffered cuts on his wrist and thigh. He was taken to the University Health Center for treatment.

William Poole has been a big topic of conversation lately in Georgia football news. He was one of the key players in the defense that helped the Bulldogs win their first national championship since 1980. Poole was also named the recipient of the Hugar and Elizabeth Wilkes Football Scholarship.

Javon Bullard is a cornerback from Baldwin High School. He has good athleticism and can play safety or cornerback as needed. He is a hot shot to the football and does not fear contact. He is a talented player recruited by Kirby Smart and will be a good addition to the class of 2021.

Elijah Jeudy is the latest player to commit to the University of Georgia. The 6-foot-3, 246-pound defensive end is a four-star prospect, according to 247Sports. He is the seventh player from the 2021 class to commit to UGA. His strong defensive skills have earned him recognition from several recruiting services, including Rivals.com and 247Sports Composite.

Nolan Smith has been a prominent player for the Georgia Bulldogs during their national championship run. Last year, he racked up 92 tackles, 3.5 sacks, an interception, and 27 quarterback hurries. Unfortunately, he didn't make the NFL draft. But his presence will help Georgia overcome the loss of star defensive back Latavious Brini to the transfer portal.

The 6-foot-4, 255-pound Beal is a former five-star recruit from Peachtree Ridge, Georgia. He briefly entered the transfer portal this offseason but chose to return to Georgia for the 2020 season. Beal, a sixth-year senior, has played in 39 games in his career. Former Georgia cornerback Ameer Speed recently signed with Michigan State, reuniting with former position coach Mel Tucker.

Georgia's Jamey Dumas-Johnson has earned the nickname "Pop" among his teammates. This is a nod to his physical appearance, which has earned him a lot of praise from Georgia coach Les McGee. He is an important part of the Bulldogs' inside linebacker room, which features several veterans and former five-star prospects.

Robert Russaw is a talented defensive lineman who is poised to make a big impact for the Gators this fall.
