Afro Klectic is a blog by a Ghanaian-born Australian student, Gillean Opoku. The site's aim is to celebrate African culture and express its diversity to a larger audience, especially outside Africa. Sepha, the founder of the site, fled Ethiopia and Eritrea in the late 1970s, but has now lived in Australia for 17 years. Her blog also features interviews with "Ken the Kenyan", Stephanos' close friend, and "Joe from the Congo," a waiter at Colonial Grill in the United States. While afroklectic.com 's given up his dream of a PhD, he keeps a college library and quotes poetry.
