Celebrating three Epic Months of Back-to-Back Blockbuster Game Launches on Xbox Game Pass

This year has been remarkable for Team Xbox, and you are our loyal customers. Bethesda was added to the Xbox Game Pass family. We also announced a new slate of games in June and released Psychonauts 2 (and Microsoft Flight Simulator) which are two of the most popular games of the year. Sea of Thieves now has 25 million players. Your love for Series X-shaped kitchen appliances, and the "Mini Fridge" have made it a reality. Our players are at the heart of everything we do, and we couldn't be more grateful for your incredible support.



Just a few weeks away from the Xbox 20th anniversary in November, we're thrilled to kick off three thrilling months of back-to-back blockbuster game launches in Game Pass:



- The Age of Empires franchise has been a key part of Microsoft's gaming heritage for 24 years and the October. 28 launch of Age of Empires IV will be the most significant yet bringing the evolved real-time strategy game to a brand new generation on Steam and Game Pass for PC on day one. Minecraft will join Game Pass for PC on November. 2. Then, there will be new Minecraft Dungeons Seasonal Adventures in December and Caves & Cliffs: Part II later in the year.


Forza Horizon 5's open world adventure in Mexico will launch on November. 9. Our biggest Forza Horizon ever and winner of the Most Awaited Game of E3 award, Forza Horizon 5 will launch simultaneously on Xbox Series X


Microsoft Flight Simulator: Game of the Year Edition will be available November. 18 as a completely free update for existing players, which includes Game Pass members, with five new aircrafts and eight new airports, new Discovery Flights and tutorials, and highly requested community features such as DX12 support. Microsoft Flight Simulator will also launch the Reno Air Races, featuring the fastest motorsports anywhere in the world. The update will be available from Nov. 18.


Dec. 8: Halo Infinite will see the Master Chief return to Earth. This is the Halo that we dreamed of 20 years ago and is finally here in the most epic Halo game ever made. Halo Infinite will be available in Game Pass when it launches across Xbox One, Xbox Series X Game Pass Ultimate members will receive monthly multiplayer rewards as part of the Perks program.


Our teams have also been expanding on the games that you love. In the past few months, you played Minecraft: Caves & Cliffs Part 1, Sea of Thieves: A Pirate's Life, State of Decay 2: Homecoming, Grounded: Hot and Hazy, and the week before, Halo The Master Chief Collection Season 8. We are incredibly grateful that these worlds continue to be played in by millions of you.



Over the past two decades, the Xbox community has transformed gaming into an experience of joy and inspiration, education, and social connection. Games help build bridges and create bonds between family and friends and also offer people new ways to connect.
