The Steam Deck Xbox games collection has expanded. MINECRAFT SERVERS Don't expect Steam Deck Halo Infinite yet however, there's Fable, Minecraft, and the Halo and Gears strategy games.

Microsoft today announced that the Steam Deck Xbox games list has been extended to include 11 popular Xbox-published titles now verified or playable on Valve's systems. The list sadly doesn't include the long-awaited Steam Deck Halo Infinite compatibility however, it does include Fable, Gears Tactics, Minecraft Dungeons, and all of the non-FPS Halo games.
As PCGamesN reported yesterday, there are now over 22,000 Steam Deck Verified or Playable games, however, there are still around 1,000 games that are not supported. Some of the games not supported include major Xbox games like Halo Infinite and Gears 5, due to problems with Easy Anti-Cheat.
While it's possible for Xbox Games Pass Ultimate subscribers to stream Xbox games on Steam Deck, anyone who would like to download them to Steam Deck is out of luck in most instances. This is a good thing that's the case, since Xbox Games Studios today reveals a further batch of Steam Deck compatible games - that unfortunately doesn't include the most recent Halo or Gears games, but does include Halo Wars, Gears Tactics, Minecraft Dungeons, and the sole major Fable game available on PC.
