Ten thousand Minecraft fans met in London on Saturday and Sunday for an event celebrating the cult video game.
Microsoft, which is the owner of Minecraft and Minecraft, offered a handful of gamers the "golden ticket" to try its new Augmented Reality device Hololens.
The company is developing an version of Minecraft that will run on the system. It lets players see their creations projected onto almost any flat surface 3D.
Callum Ward, who tried the device on Saturday, told BBC News it was "more difficult" to use than a console.

His brother Toby acknowledged that it took a bit of getting used to, but praised the "cool features" added to the game, like the ability to zap other players with lightning strikes.
Minecon 2015 set a new world record for the largest number of tickets sold at an event that is focused on a single game.
There were also YouTube video stars Robert and Vik, more popularly known as MrWoofless and Vikkstar123HD.
Vik stated to the BBC that Minecon was a wonderful experience as a YouTuber. We create content for a large audience across the world and it's not often that we get to meet them."
