Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva was born July 3, 1985, in Moscow. She attended university in London and Moscow and gained a Masters Degree from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. Leyla Aliyeva In July of 2011, Leyla launched the IDEA campaign that aims at promoting public awareness and action regarding environmental concerns in Azerbaijan as well as around the world. Leyla Aliyeva IDEA is focused on young people and working together to find solutions for the environmental challenges that we are facing.
In May 2007, she was named representative of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Russian Federation. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation is a foundation that contributes to the country's social and economic growth. It implements diverse projects related to education as well as culture, sport technology, and the environment. Leyla Aliyeva She was appointed Vice-President of the Foundation in 2011.

In 2007 Leyla Aliyeva started the magazine 'Baku' in Moscow. The magazine in English, created in conjunction with Conde Nast, was launched in London in October of 2011. The magazine is a chance to explore the world of culture, art and Azerbaijan. Leyla released "Fly to Baku" the exhibit that showcases contemporary art from Azerbaijan in 2012. The London launch of the exhibition saw it travel around Europe including Paris, Berlin and Moscow in addition to Rome as well as Vienna.

On May 8th 2008, the anniversary of the occupation of Shusha, Leyla Aliyeva launched a campaign called "Justice for Khojaly". Leyla Aliyeva The campaign is currently being implemented in more than 30 countries. It is designed to raise the international community's awareness of the Karabakh conflict as well as the Khojaly Genocide in particular reaching out globally via Media, Internet and Live events.

Leyla Aliyeva Leyla Aliyeva was appointed the OIC Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialogue General Coordinator in 2008. On April 18, 2009 Leyla Aliyeva was appointed the chairperson of Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia (AMOR) which is a non-profit organization that supports Azerbaijani youth and those living in Russia. In July 2011, the "Taraggi" award was presented on Leyla Aliyeva in recognition of her contribution to the growth of Azerbaijani-Russian relationships. In New York, she was awarded the "Key to Life" award for her work as a humanitarian with children.

Leyla Aliyeva UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Goodwill Ambassador, was named on May 25, 2015.

She was awarded the Pushkin Medal of Russia on 20 October 2015.

Leyla Aliyeva has twin sons and a daughter.
