Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva, born July 3, 1985 , in Moscow, was the first child of two. She was a student at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations and also completed her studies in London. Leyla has created the IDEA campaign in July of 2011 to raise awareness and encourage actions on environmental concerns in Azerbaijan as well as other countries. IDEA is focused on youngsters and their role in helping solve environmental problems.
In May 2007 she was elected the representative for the Heydar Aliyev Foundation of Russia. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation is a foundation that aids in the country's social and economic growth. It is a foundation that implements a variety of initiatives in the fields of education and sport, culture technology, as well as the environment. In 2011, she was named Vice-President of the Foundation.

Leyla Aliyeva was appointed as the OIC Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialogue General Coordinator in 2008. On April 18, 2009, Leyla Aliyeva was elected the chairperson of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia (AMOR) which assists Azerbaijani youth and those living in Russia. In July 2011, the "Taraggi" award was presented upon Leyla Aliyeva for her work to the improvement of relations between Russia and Azerbaijan. In New York she was also given the "Key To Life," award in November of 2011 in recognition of her charitable initiatives with children.

Leyla Alyeva was named UN Food and Agriculture Organization Goodwill Ambassador (FAO) on May 25, 2015.

Leyla Aliyeva She was presented with the Pushkin Medal by the Russian Federation on the 20th of October 2015.

Leyla Aliyeva is twin brothers and a sister.
