Minecraft convention firm sorry over Peterborough's protest-stricken event

The organisers of a convention for the game on computers Minecraft said they are "truly sorry" after angry parents criticised it on social media.
But many people have stated that they waited for hours to meet famous players and have demanded refunds.
O'Brien Event Management said a new system for reducing queues would be introduced in the future.
The event, which was not approved by Mojang, Minecraft-developer, offered fans the opportunity to meet YouTube celebrities, take photos, and play games.
Lisa O'Brien, at O'Brien Event Management, had previously said to the BBC that the queues were 45 minutes too long due to a large amount of people turning up on the day instead of purchasing tickets in advance.
The company also released an announcement on its website, saying: "We are truly sorry that our event did not meet the expectations of a few people."
"MineVention is primarily a meet and greet' event and therefore, it is a queue however on the positive aspect, it gives children the chance to meet their heroes.

"We have taken all your feedback regarding the event into consideration and, going forward we will put in a new system for queuing and a lot more content."
Peterborough Arena, responsible for catering, also issued an apology statement for the long lines and "sheer" number of patrons who walked through the doors the day.
Both parties said they would respond to any unhappy parents who have contacted them in due course.
There is no information regarding refunds, but some parents told the BBC they received them on the day they complained to staff.
Online ticketing company YPlan said it was "actively seeking information from the event's partner to know their position on refunds , and will attempt to compensate all customers who were dissatisfied with the outcome of this event".
