Microsoft and Mojang do not just have a story-based Minecraft game to showcase at Minecon 2015, they're also unveiling a beta version Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition. This version will replace the less-than-ideal Java code used in desktop versions with native Windows code. It also shares some roots with Pocket Edition, which you typically see on smartphones. With an update expected to arrive "soon" and will allow you to able to create worlds with mobile gamers. The construction game will, surprise!, make the most of Windows 10's numerous Xbox tie-ins, including eight-way gaming (both locally and online) and video recording. If you have an existing PC version, the beta will be available on the 29th of July. MINECRAFT SERVERS It's free. It will cost $10 to enter the beta phase if you are new to this.
