RipClear Moto Goggle Lens Protection Product Review
If you might pick out one annoying thing about getting your gear ready, an amount or not it's? For me it’s changing goggle lenses; even though some goggle brands (like Oakley and Scott) are easier to change than these, I still never enjoy installing a new lens. Well RipClear makes protective lenses for just about anything that needs clear vision, from Go Pro’s, goggles and even cellular phone screen protectors, RipClear has something for everything. They reached over to Keefer Inc. Testing to see if we would be thinking about trying some goggle lens protectors and also since Keefer has watched me fumble with lenses several times he sent them my way. In the pack of lens protectors there are two universal fit goggle protectors, two wet wipes, one micro fiber cloth as well as dust removal sheets together with step by step instructions. To be 100% honest, my new installing a protector I messed all this up together to junk one before figuring out the full process and fitment. Seeing as these are generally universal fit, depending on the goggle, you may have to trim the sides to adjust to between your tear off posts in your lens (at least I did for the Scott Prospects). Once the protector was trimmed I made certain the lens was perfectly clean and carefully installed the “RipClear” following instructions closely.

One thing I noticed was that I must be very careful ensuring that the perimeters were all the best way down and guarantee the bubbles were out from underneath the protector before riding. If there are any bubbles or a lifted edge so you head out for the ride, it collects debris and makes the high spots noticeable inside your field of view, which is often annoying for a lot of riders. If things are installed correctly you can actually so slightly understand the edge of the protector and not enough to become bothersome. The reason RipClear started selling goggle lens protectors is really because no one likes changing lenses continuously (and it’s expensive). These can you could make your lenses last longer and are generally claimed to make the lens stronger (although I never tested the theory). After some time with the RipClear protectors I have to state definitely more scratch resistant (specifically in the Costa Rican mud that you could have ran beyond tear offs, thus forcing said rider to need to wipe the lens with muddy gloves) than your bare goggle lens and I haven’t were required to change lenses normally. After some use and abuse realize peel up on the edges and that’s when it’s time for it to replace them. You can you need to off of the old one, clean the lens and install a fresh RipClear. While the outside the lens stays much more scratch resistant, the inside remains the standard lens.

I realized that after having the ability to use my lens for longer durations of energy, the inside of the lens really begins to take a greater portion of a beating (specifically in dusty conditions). If I were required to put various into it I would point out that a lens lasts 1.5 to 1.75 times more than without having a RipClear. So depending on how much a lens costs for your goggle (between $10-$40 nowadays) some RipClear Lens protectors ($20 for any pack of 2) will be worth it that will get a tad bit more life from your lens (plus you won’t be cussing at your goggles or your wife and changing lenses as often). I would say my main gripe in regards to the strategy is that it’s slightly difficult to obtain the protector on perfectly and still have no bubbles relating to the lens and protector. As of right now RipClear only comes with a universal protector which fits relating to the tear off posts, but after talking while using company they prefer to release a few goggle specific (for your very popular models) protectors soon, that will have holes for tear off posts and reach further on the edge of the lens. The company make me aware that provided that there exists a requirement for something that needs a protector, they will be more than happy to generate it. uv protection lenses price think for further hardcore moto riders this isn't always the ideal product because let’s tell the truth, some moto riders are divas about field of vision and could have an overabundance money than your average blue collar off-road rider. I first are derived from an off-road background and I can really go to a need for making lenses keep going longer, particularly if conditions get nasty.
