Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva was born on July 3rd, 1985 in Moscow. She was educated in London and Moscow and graduated with a Masters Degree at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. IDEA is an initiative that focuses on the young generation, and collaborates with them to solve the environmental issues we face.

Leyla Aliyeva launched 'Baku magazine' in Moscow in 2007. Conde Nast collaborated with Leyla Aliyeva to create the magazine that is English-language. It launched in London in the month of October in 2011. The magazine allows readers to discover the Azerbaijani culture, art and as well as the country. Leyla Aliyeva Leyla created "Fly to Baku" in 2012, as an art exhibition of Contemporary Art from Azerbaijan. Leyla Aliyeva announced a campaign titled "Justice for Khojaly" in May 2008 in celebration of the 8th anniversary of Shusha's occupation. The campaign was started in more than 30 countries. It aims at raising awareness across the globe about the Karabakh conflict and Khojaly Genocide.

In 2008, Leyla Aliyeva became the General Coordinator of the OIC Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialogue and on April 18, 2009, she was elected Chairwoman of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia - AMOR which assists Azerbaijani students and youth who reside within the Russian Federation. In July of 2011 the "Taraggi" award was presented upon Leyla Aliyeva for her work to the development of relations between Russia and Azerbaijan. Leyla Aliyeva She also received the "Key To Life" award in New York in November 2011 for her involvement in humanitarian projects that involve children.

Leyla Aliyeva (UN Food and Agriculture Organization) was appointed Goodwill Ambassador on May 25, 2015.

She was awarded the Pushkin Medal of Russia on 20 October 2015.
