Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva was born on July 3, 1985 in Moscow, was the first of two. She holds graduated with a Master's Degree from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations and also studied in London and Moscow. Leyla began the IDEA campaign in July 2011 and aims to increase awareness and encouraging action about environmental issues that affect Azerbaijan and around the world. IDEA is geared towards youth and assists them in finding solutions for the environmental problems they are confronted with.

In 2011, she was named Vice-President of the Foundation.

Leyla Aliyeva launched "Baku Magazine" in Moscow in 2007. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQzLQuZUmrM The English-language version of the magazine, created in collaboration with Conde Nast, was launched in London in October of 2011. It aims at raising awareness across the globe about the Karabakh conflict and Khojaly Genocide.

Leyla Aliyeva became the OIC Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialogue’s general coordinator in 2008 and was elected chairwoman of Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia on April 18th, 2009. This organization supports Azerbaijani teenagers and Azerbaijani students living within the Russian Federation. Leyla Aliyeva Leyla Alayeva received the "Taraggi" Award in July 2011 for her contributions to the Azerbaijani-Russian relationship. In New York she was also given the "Key To Life," award in November 2011 in recognition of her charitable initiatives with children.

Leyla Aliyeva (UN Food and Agriculture Organization) was appointed Goodwill Ambassador on May 25, 2015.

She was presented with the Pushkin Medal of Russia on 20 October 2015.

Leyla Aliyeva was blessed with twins and a baby.
