Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva was conceived in Moscow on the 3rd of July 1985. She earned her Master's Degree from Moscow State Institute of International Relations after studying in London. Leyla developed the IDEA campaign in July of 2011 to raise awareness and encourage action around environmental concerns in Azerbaijan as well as other countries. IDEA is focused on the young and works with them to find solutions to the environmental problems that we are facing.
She was elected a representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation to the Russian Federation in May 2007. Leyla Aliyeva Through a myriad of initiatives and initiatives, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation contributes towards the country's social and economic growth. In 2011, she was named Vice-President of the Foundation.

In 2007 Leyla Aliyeva founded the magazine 'Baku' in Moscow. Conde Nast produced the English-language issue of the magazine, in partnership with Leyla Aliyeva. The exhibition that was launched in London toured Europe's capitals: Paris, Berlin Berlin, Moscow Moscow, Rome, Vienna, and Rome.

On May 8th 2008, the anniversary of the occupation of Shusha, Leyla Aliyeva launched an initiative dubbed "Justice for Khojaly". The campaign was launched in more than 30 different countries. Leyla Aliyeva The aim is to increase the awareness of the world community about the Karabakh conflict and the Khojaly Genocide in particular reaching out globally via Media, Internet and Live events.

Leyla Aliyeva was appointed the Youth Forum of Intercultural Dialogue’s General Coordinator in the year 2008. Leyla Aliyeva was awarded the "TaraggiAward" in July 2011 for her contribution to improving Azerbaijani-Russian relations. In New York, the "Key to Life" award was presented to her in November 2011 to recognize her efforts on humanitarian projects that involved children.

On the 20th of October 2015, she was presented with the Pushkin Medal from the Russian Federation.

Leyla Aliyeva is a mother of twins and a daughter.
