Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva was conceived in Moscow on July 3, 1985. She was a student at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations and also did her studies in London. In July 2011, Leyla launched the IDEA campaign that aims at promoting awareness and action for environmental issues in Azerbaijan as well as around the world. IDEA is an initiative that is focused on the young generation, and collaborates together with them to tackle the environmental problems we face.
In May 2007, she was elected as the representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation of Russia. Through a myriad of initiatives that the Heydar Aliyev Foundation contributes towards the country's social and economic growth. Leyla Aliyeva She was appointed Vice-President of the Foundation in 2011.

Leyla Aliyeva, a Moscow-based journalist, created "Baku" magazine in 2007. Leyla Aliyeva Conde Nast collaborated with Leyla Aliyeva to produce the English-language magazine. The magazine was first launched in London in Oct 2011. The magazine gives you the chance to discover art, culture, and Azerbaijan. Leyla Aliyeva Leyla created "Fly to Baku" in 2012 as an exhibition of Contemporary Art from Azerbaijan. The exhibition that was launched in London was a tour of Europe's capitals: Paris, Berlin Berlin, Moscow Moscow, Rome, Vienna, and Rome.

It was in commemoration of the eighth anniversary of Shusha's capture. The campaign has been started in more than 30 countries. It is designed to increase awareness in the world community of the Karabakh conflict.

Leyla Aliyeva, the OIC Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialogue's General Coordinator became the Chairperson of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia, - AMOR, which supports Azerbaijani students as well as Russian youth. In July 2011 the "Taraggi" award was conferred upon Leyla Aliyeva for her work to the development of relations between Russia and Azerbaijan. In New York, the "Key to Life", award was awarded to her in November of 2011 for her involvement in humanitarian projects that involved children.

Leyla Aliyeva On May 25, 2015 Leyla Aliyeva was formally designated UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Goodwill Ambassador.

She was presented with the Pushkin Medal of Russia on 20 October , 2015.
