Having accepted the position of Fashion Show Coordinator for 2023, I am looking forward to presenting a lovely event.
Plans and preparations are under way as we speak. Everyone has been extremely helpful in this learning process and
I am becoming familiar with procedures, protocol and budget for the Fashion Show.
That being said, I must implore the board to reinstate the Fashion Show budget back to at the very least its original amount of $600.00.
The near impossibility of creating a lovely environment with the present budget of $450.00, is without saying difficult.
I am very conscious of cost and not wasting money and will always look for the best possible purchase but, I dare say that every item I have pursued for possible centerpieces has
increased in cost. Couple that with the lack of availability of products, do to shipping, production, covid, etc., has made choices even more difficult no matter how frugal or creative one can be.
Having a sparse budget compounds the choices.
My Ultimate goal is to create a beautiful environment for a lovely event that our members will thoroughly enjoy.
With your help in increasing the Fashion Show Budget to at least $600.00 will indeed help.
