Minecraft: All of Denmark almost recreated

The entire country of Denmark has been recreated, to scale, in the virtual world of Minecraft.
The Danish government faithfully reproduced the entire country in the building-block style of the highly acclaimed title.
Chit chat chit chat
Danish residents are encouraged to "freely move around in Denmark" and to "find your own home area to build and teardown."
Worldwide, around 50 million Minecraft copies have been sold.
Known as a "sandbox" game, the title allows players to exist in a virtual world by using building blocks to construct everything from basic structures to entire worlds.
Minecraft was launched by Markus "Notch", an Swedish independent developer.
The Danish government claimed that the maps were created to be used as an educational tool and suggested "virtual field trips" to hard-to-reach parts of the country.
Flat roofs
There is no other goal other than survival.
Many players are interested in recreating real-world locations.
An intern from the UK's Ordnance Survey team created 86,000 sq. miles (2244,000 sq km) of accurate geographical landscapes last year.
The Danish project is more ambitious however, with buildings and towns reproduced in greater detail.
The only difference, the team behind it stated, was that all roofs were flat.
It also prohibits the use of one of the game's most popular tools - explosives.
The complete map download for Denmark will be available to 23 October.
