Demands the sale of shares of David Degen Bernhard Burgener.

Another issue is the owner dispute over FC Basel between Bernhard Burgener and David Degen. Burgener is supported by the Board of Directors. However, no agreement is reached.
The FC Basel Holding AG Board of Directors met on Monday early in the morning. Burgener and Degen along as Karl Odermatt & Peter von Buren were the previous owner. According to a press release issued by the holding company Degen requested Degen to dispose of his stake in Basel Dream & Vision AG.
Burgener is able to sell its shares to minor shareholders according to a legally enforceable law. The Board of Directors states that this drag-along rights takes precedence over Degen's pre-sale rights.
Burgener together with his team, have moved to settle the ownership dispute. Degen insists on his right to first refusal. He wants to exercise this right to 16.4 million Francs. Burgener has been barred from selling his 80 percent stake by the ex-player through a super-provisional court order. Centricus, a British firm that manages assets is also a potential stake. Burgener would still be the most popular vote.
According to FC Basel Holding AG Announcement, Burgener und Degen are looking to settle an out-of-court settlement "in favor of FCB".
