The Morning After: IPadOS 13.4 Brings Mouse and Trackpad Support

After a long time since the tablet launched it's now iPad is now comparable to other laptops in a crucial way: You can use it with a mouse or trackpad. The 13.4 update that was released yesterday for iOS and iPadOS added that and several other new features, like support for third-party navigation apps in the CarPlay dashboard, and a revamped iCloud file sharing that will be significantly more useful.



The browser is still the most important change. Safari for iOS, iPadOS and macOS now blocks all third-party cookies by default and is the first major browser to do it. Google has stated that Chrome will follow suit, but not before 2022. The team calls this an "significant improvement for privacy since it removes any sense of exceptions, or that "a little bit of cross-site tracking is permitted." Android makes me feel more secure, and I already use it.

Royole claims that the FlexPai 2 will come with Royole's third generation Cicada Wing FFD, which has a much improved bend radius. It's now only 1mm. The FlexPai 2 is still able to bend more than 200,000 times, despite having a 3mm diameter.



This gives the phone a much better fold -which is perhaps closer to, if not better than Huawei's Mate Xs which has a similar outward-facing screen that is flexible. Huawei is working with ZTE on future phones- so perhaps you'll be more likely to encounter one in the wild.
