Are you looking for a survival game that's not Valheim? Do give Vintage Story a go, that on the surface appears like Minecraft but it's so much more engaging and much deeper mechanically.
This is a minor upgrade to the previous release however, there are some exciting things. A Mod Database is one of the most significant additions. The database allows players to upload and download mods. They said that it will eventually be integrated with the game client to "blur the lines between what vanilla content is and what modified content is" (if you want to use it).
While the rest of the update is comprised of minor adjustments and fixes, their support for Linux continues to shine. For Linux players, you should hopefully see improved support for running the game on Wayland. Minecraft They have upgraded the version of OpenTK that is used, along with extra Wayland fixes that should enhance the mouse support there. You can read the complete changelog here.

The next major update to 1.15 is already sounding interesting with "some amazing work to improve performance in several areas of the game" along with new music, new mobs and much more.
