Free Mario download for Minecraft players

Mario is making his official Minecraft debut, jumping from one computer-generated world to the next.
In a brand new update for the Wii U version of the blockbuster game, Mario, Luigi, Wario, Toad, Princess Peach and many more Super Mario Bros characters will be included in the game starting next Tuesday.
Most importantly, in these days of expensive content that is downloaded, the vibrant characters are free to download.

The Mario pack will bring more than characters into the pixelated world of Minecraft.
Players can also modify the game's objects and textures, and fight blocksier versions of Hammer Bros. and Dry Bones from the Mario world - with the soothing sound of classic songs from Super Mario 64.
Fans will be able to create their own locations from Mario-themed Minecraft blocks, before exploring new worlds with classic characters (albeit a little more sharp) from one of the most famous games in the history of gaming.
A disc-based version of Minecraft for Wii U, including all the Mario extras is expected to launch in June.
