These Lenovo Chromebooks are $99 (or less!) Prime Day

Three Lenovo Chromebooks are on sale at less than $100 for Prime Day, a decent price for what should be a decent Chromebook If you're willing to make an additional purchase.



Our list of the best Chromebook deals on Prime Day usually includes at least one Chromebook priced less than $100. We've found many deals, including Chromebooks with prices as low as $79 from Lenovo that can offer huge savings of up to 70.

Are they worth the effort? Yes, we believe they are, though barely. All three Chromebooks are powered by a Celeron N4020 processor, which is dual-core processor, but it's few years old. All three Chromebooks have 4GB of memory. The minimum requirement for the minimum capacity of a Chromebook is 64GB. We've seen quite a few Chromebooks with 32GB of storage, so the extra space for applications or photos is beneficial, even though you'll want to stick to mostly web-based work on Chromebooks. However, luxuries such as a touchscreen are not included. The Walmart bundle comes with headphones, which are a nice but small extra.

The 768p screen is the weakest screen of the three Chromebooks. It's smaller than most laptops' 1080p screens, but should be adequate. Don't let this discourage you if you have already invested in technology over the years. All three of the Chromebooks have at least one USB-C port and one of them includes DisplayPort over USB-C. That means you can connect an external display to the Chromebook and use that instead which will increase the screen's size and resolution.



How? You'll need a USB hub or dongle, that can cost anywhere between $20 and $40 based on what you buy.
