Pitango concentrates on companies that are in their initial stages, focusing on core areas of high-tech with over 200 investments and over 85 exits as of. Rami was named the managing partner in the year 2000. Although Rami Beracha appears to have been successful in every project he has set his mind on, his journey was not an easy one. Beracha became a young man, much like the majority of Israelis. He was a member of the Paratrooper's Brigade as a combat soldier, and also fought in the Lebanon War. Rami was part a rescue team that went out to assist soldiers injured in a minefield. The incident occurred shortly after the war was over. Rami fell into a concealed mine, and he was unable to walk and his hand.
He had one of the most challenging times of his life and his hospitalization was the culmination of it. He couldn't move and sunk into despair and depression. His dreams of becoming an officer in the Army did not materialize and he lost all sense of himself. The suffering of Rami helped him discover the passion and drive to keep living and dream up new ones. He set out to become better and stronger than he had been before his injuries. Rami pushed himself to try various extreme sports. Today, he enjoys snowboarding kitesurfing, snowboarding and the climb of Mount Kilimanjaro. He's always striving to improve his skills and believes that his previous uninjured self is driving him forward.
He volunteers for many organizations and makes donations. He is very passionate about helping young men who suffered from combat injuries. In the year 2016 Rami led a group of men who suffered injuries during their army service on a trip to Nepal. In 2018, he received promoted to major in Israeli army's paratrooper and fire brigades. He was a dreamer as when he was a teenager and they were able to come to fruition despite all the difficulties. His story and his passion are a source of inspiration to many. Rami refused to let his injuries hold him from achieving his goals. He kept learning and trying out new techniques until he became stronger than ever before.
