Minecraft YouTuber Technoblade has passed away after the battle with cancer in stage four. Alex 23, who was 23 years old, died after fighting stage four cancer. He had more than 10.8 million viewers on his channel.
A touching farewell video was uploaded in which Technoblade's father read a farewell message from the YouTuber which thanked fans for their continued support over the nine years that he made content.
"If I had another hundred lives I'm pretty sure I'd choose to be Technoblade every time since those were the most blissful years of my life," his message read. "I hope you guys enjoyed my content and that it made some of you laugh, and I hope that you go on to live long prosperous, happy, and prosperous lives because I love you. Technoblade out."
Known for being quite private, Technoblade only revealed his real name in the farewell message, but he also revealed last year that he had been diagnosed with cancer in his right arm. In the video his father explains that Technoblade passed away just hours after he wrote the message.
His mother also left a note in writing at the bottom of the video. "[Technoblade] stayed clear of fame and worked hard to keep his real identity secret, and we ask you to keep up his wishes to safeguard his privacy and that of his family members," it reads.
