Rami Beracha shares his life experiences with students at the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya. When he was a young man Rami was adamant about pursuing a law degree. While he was not sure if it was the right decision for him, he decided to pursue law school and earned an MA in New York. He then worked in an overseas law office. He realized that his love was more for business than law during his time working in the Wall Street law office. He quit his job in order to go to France to get an MBA.

After receiving her degree in 1996, Beracha got a job by the Venture Capital Fund Pitango. Pitango is Israel's most significant venture capital company. Pitango is an investment fund that invests in early stage companies, with a focus on high-tech areas. It has more than 200 investments and has 85 exits. Rami was promoted to managing partner in the year 2000. In the 18 years that followed, he led dozens of deals that led to successful exits for Fortune 500 companies such as Broadcom, Marvel and Cisco.

Then he didn't stop there. In 2011 Globes gave Beracha the "Esteemed Partner" award, acknowledging him as an influential investor that he has become. In 2014, Rami created a new venture known as Sosa. Sosa's innovation centers are situated in New York and Tel Aviv. They help startups in high-tech by working with international entrepreneurs. Sosa was selected recently to lead the New York City cyber center.

Beracha has two new ventures that are in the process of the process of development. Beracha along with some business partners, has recently launched a London Blockchain Venture Capital Investment Fund. Beracha is able and willing to assist in expanding the market after he helped in the transformation of Israel into a world-class center for high-tech. Beracha's outlook on business is evident in the fund. It states that "We are experts in technology, however we only invest in mission-driven individuals." They aim to assist blockchain technology find its place in the forefront of innovative concepts and businesses with a passion for the subject.
In addition to this European fund, Beracha has plans for another Middle Eastern venture capital fund. Beracha believes now is a great time to invest into the Arab market. Dubai is the perfect starting point, because it is wealthy and very modern. The idea behind his newest fund, or Ender Ventures, as he plans to call it, is to bring Israeli advertising European Investors to support UAE high-tech companies in the fields of artificial intelligence, virtual reality, robotics, and more. The United Arab Emirates has a unique perspective on business. Because of its low business taxand business-friendly laws the UAE will probably draw many businesses in the near future.

Although Rami Beracha is a successful man today, his life was not always easy. Beracha became an untrained young man, like the majority of Israelis. He served in the Paratrooper's Brigade as a combat soldier, and also fought in the Lebanon War. Rami was part a rescue team that went out to aid soldiers wounded in minefields. This happened shortly after the war had ended. Rami fell into a concealed mine and was unable to walk as well as his hand.
His rehabilitation period in the hospital was among the most challenging experiences of his life. He was not able to move, and he fell into desperation and depression. His hopes to advance his career in the military seemed lost , and he did not know the identity of who or what he was. Rami did manage to get over his grief and discover the determination to continue living and chase new goals. He decided to become even better and even stronger than he was prior to the injuries. Rami was determined to test different extreme sports. He now enjoys kitesurfing, snowboarding and has hiked Mount Kilimanjaro. He is often awed by his uncontrollable previous life pushing him to the limit and challenging him.
He donates money and volunteers in many organizations and is extremely dedicated to helping young men, just like him were wounded during combat. Rami took a group injured soldiers to Nepal in the year 2016 where he was awarded the rank of major. In the year 2018, Rami received elevated to the rank of Major in the Israeli Army's Paratrooper as well as Fire Brigades. His dreams as young people could be realized occur, despite all of the obstacles he had to face. His story and his passion are an inspiration for many. Rami didn't let his injuries stop him from exploring new ideas and he grew stronger every day.
