Pastor and faith healer. Author. Television host. Chris Oyakhilome is known by his followers as Pastor Chris. Chris is the president and founder of LoveWorld Incorporated. His unique interpretation of God's Word has inspired thousands across the world.

Oyakhilome Pastor Chris The Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a child of faith, who was raised in a loving family and supported by his parents. He is the eldest child of Elder T.E Oyakhilome and Angelina Oyakhilome. She was a pioneer of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City and a matriarch of Oyakhilome families. She handed down her divine grace to her son at an early age.

The entire family is involved with the LoveWorld ministry. His brother, Reverend Ken is the highly regarded pastor of Christ Embassy's Houston, Texas Church and is a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council as well as his sister, KattyWorghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry (LMAM), which is home to several world-class gospel artists.

Pastor Chris is the father of two daughters: Carissa Sharon (Charlene) and Chris. Carissa Sharon, who is also known by the name of CSO is a CSO member who has decided to follow in the footsteps of her father by sharing the Gospel of God the world. She is an accomplished gospel singer who has won awards and is a member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome received his education in Edo College. He then received an award to study architecture in Bendel State University. He also has an honorary doctorate in divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was where the Lord called him to serve the Lord and become a minister.

The Man Of God was an undergraduate student at the time he founded the church which would grow to be one of largest in the world. His small prayer group, called 'Youth for Christ' would eventually become one of campus' most popular groups. They would later go on to create LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy with millions of followers.


The LoveWorld ministry was established under the direction of Pastor Chris. It is a leader in satellite TV, Christian TV production and programming. LoveWorldSAT is the first Christian television station to broadcast from Africa, 24 hours a day, on air-free networks. There are currently LoveWorld television stations on satellite and cable networks throughout the world.

Christ Embassy has a strong presence in Pastor Chris's native Nigeria, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. The ministry also runs two Healing School located in South Africa, Canada and the United States, where Pastor Chris leads seasonal sessions, in which miracles are possible.

Music and Gospel Music form an integral element of worship. Pastor Chris supports Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry choir to train. Many of the singers are successful soloists under the guidance of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's direction.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a committed and generous philanthropist. He founded the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation (COFI) an independent, non-profit foundation with the goal to assist the poorest communities and people in the most deprived regions and countries across the globe.

Oyakhilome In addition to preaching the Gospel, as well as preaching the Gospel, Man of God has established NGOs with an aim of providing vital services and hope to the poor, needy and forgotten souls. COFI's five partners all have a common goal: to raise living standards and improve the quality of life in the most disadvantaged areas.

Under the auspices COFI is the InnerCity Mission (ICM) for children as well as the Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) as well as the Bible For All Mission. Each of these groups works to improve the lives, health and spirits of the most in need.

His charity provides food and shelter for the poor. Pastor Chris believes in strengthening communities by establishing COFI and The InnerCity Mission.
