Pastor Faith healer, pastor and author, Chris Oyakhilome is well-known to his followers as Pastor Chris. He is also the president of LoveWorld Incorporated. Also called Christ Embassy. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a child of faith who was raised in a loving family and was supported by his parents. He is the elder of three sons born to elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founders of Assemblies for God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her divine grace upon her son from an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry is supported by the entire family. Reverend Ken, his brother, is the most revered minister of Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church and a member on Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren serves as the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry(LMAM) in which many gospel musicians are among the best-selling worldwide.

Pastor Chris has two daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon decided to follow her father's example of sharing God's Word with the world. The name is CSO (Community Service Organization), she is a skilled gospel artist and is a part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts community.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his studies in Edo College. After a grant was made to pursue a degree in architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University), he was awarded a BSc degree in Architecture as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. He also has an honorary doctorate of divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He was called from God to join the ministry and serve the Lord.

The Man of God created what would eventually become one of the biggest church congregations in the world when He was still in school at university, with a small prayer group called "Youth for Christ," that eventually grew into one of one of the largest organization of its kind on campus. It would later serve as the basis of the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated with millions of followers across the world.
