Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a family of faith and loving parents who were devoted to their children. He is the oldest child of Elder T.E Oyakhilome and Angelina Oyakhilome. She was a pioneer of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City and a matriarch of the Oyakhilome families. Oyakhilome She handed down her divine grace to her son at an early age.


The LoveWorld ministry is a joint effort of the family. Reverend Ken is Ken's older brother and member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. Pastor Chris is the father of two daughters: Carissa Sharon (Charlene) and Chris. Carissa Sharon decided to follow her father's lead of sharing God's Word to the world. Also known as CSO (Community Service Organization), she is a skilled gospel artist and a member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts community.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his studies at Edo College. Then he was awarded a scholarship that allowed him to pursue studies at Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There he graduated with a BSc. in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science. He has an honorary divinity degree from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was the location where he was able to feel God called him to become a minister to the Lord.

The Man of God was in university, began what would eventually become one of the most influential churches in the entire world. A small group of prayer called Youth for Christ’ was formed. It would evolve to become one of the largest and most admired institutions at the university.
