Chris Oyakhilome Biography: The Man, The Mentor, The Teacher and The Philanthropist

Pastor and faith heaver author, and television host Chris Oyakhilome. In addition to the people who follow him, Pastor Chris is the president and founder of LoveWorld Incorporated. His unique and inspirational telling of God’s Word has inspired millions all over the world.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian, born on December 63 in Edo State. He was raised by his loving parents. He was the oldest of four children of the elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the first pioneers of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina who is the matriarch of the Oyakhilome family who imprinted her divine grace upon her son from an early age.

The entire family is involved with the LoveWorld ministry. His brother, Reverend Ken, is the esteemed Pastor of Christ Embassy's Houston, Texas Church and is a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council as well as his sister, KattyWorghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry (LMAM), where there are a number of world-class gospel artists.

Pastor Chris has two daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon decided to follow her father's example of sharing the Word of God with the world. The name is CSO (Community Service Organization) She is a skilled gospel artist and part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts community.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his education at Edo College. After a grant was made to pursue a degree in the field of architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University) He earned the BSc degree in Architecture, and an honorary Doctor of Science. He also has an honorary doctorate of divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He received a call from God to enter the ministry and to serve the Lord.

While still at university, the Man of God began what would be the largest church in the world. It started with an uninvolved group of believers called 'Youth for Christ'. The group would eventually become the foundation of LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy, and eventually millions of followers across the globe.

The LoveWorld ministry under the direction of Chris, the pastor Chris has become an early pioneer in satellite television as well as Christian television programming. LoveWorldSAT is the first Christian TV station that broadcasts from Africa, 24 hours a day, on air-free networks. There are LoveWorld satellite and cable television stations around the globe.

Christ Embassy has a strong presence in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. The ministry has two healing schools, which are based in South Africa.

COFI has five partners who are committed to improving the living conditions in the least-served regions.

COFI manages the InnerCity Mission, ICM for Children, the Volunteer Medical Corps and Trauma International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation , and the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organizations works to enhance the health, life and spirits of the most in need.
