Password protection is now available for recently Deleted albums.

The Hidden album within the Photos app isn't hidden, considering that it is easily accessible and it is not practical for properly concealing private photos and videos. However, Apple does have an option to make the Hidden album "invisible," anyone with access to their phone can make it visible and browse through the contents.

Thanks to iOS 16 you can now secure the Hidden album. You don't actually need to do anything to toggle this feature off. If you want to check it out, launch the Photos app and go to the Albums tab at the bottom of the screen. Scroll down until you see an option to lock the Hidden and Recently Deleted album. To see what's inside you need to use Face ID or your passcode.

View and share saved Wi-Fi passwords Apple has permitted iOS users to share Wi-Fi passwords some time however, only by placing two Apple devices next to each other. If that feature didn't work automatically and you didn't have the option of digging out the password from your settings. Plus if you wanted to share your saved Wi-Fi password with someone else such as an Android user or someone using computers, you needed to know the password. Until now.

To view the password for the network, tap on the Password section. Next, use Face ID or your passcode to view it. To copy the password to your clipboard, tap Copy.

You may have duplicate images or videos. It's not a problem if you've got enough storage space However, if not it could be a good idea to go back and eliminate every duplicate -which is now easy to do on iOS 16.

In the Albums section of Photos In the Albums section, you'll be able to see a brand new Duplicates album under Utilities, where Apple scans through all of your photos and shows you any image or video you've saved more times than once. From there, you can delete any duplicates, or simply click Merge, which will save the photo with the highest quality (and relevant information) and then move the rest to the trash.

While you'll likely want examine every duplicate, to ensure that they're identical copies and not identical photos, you can also select Select > Select All > Merge to remove every single photo and video that Apple considers to be duplicates, all at once.

Pin your favorite tabs to Safari Safari. Safari limits your tabs open to 500. If you surpass that limit, it may be difficult to locate the tab you are trying to find. It's possible to scroll forever however, there's now an easier method to locate the exact tab you're looking to find.

In Safari If you press down on a tab that is open You can now press Pin Tab. This will move the tab to Safari's top, which will show it as preview of the tab. You can tap to view it.

If you press down to unpin a tab, it will be moved to the top of your grid of open tabs.
