Minecraft Java Edition 1.19.1

We're now making available 1.19.1 for Minecraft: Java Edition. This release includes Allay duplicates as well as new Player Safety functionality.



- Allay Duplication Modified Skulk Catalysts. - Chat Trust status - New Options for Chat Preview. - Player Reporting - added



Allay



- Allays will dance to the beat of a Record that is on a Jukebox - If the Allay is handed an Amethyst Shard while dancing it will duplicate- Duplication has five minutes of cooldown



Sculk Catalyst



- Sculk Catalysts will now drop 5 XP instead 20 XP



Chat



- The chat scrollbar was moved to the right. - when typing a message, the status of the sign-in for the chat message displayed is highlighted with a colored indicator- The indicator will appear to the left of the input field or to the left of the chat preview if the chat preview is enabled. The indicator will turn blue when the displayed message is signed - The indicator will change to orange when Chat Preview is enabled and a preview is waiting to be signed



Chat Trust Status



Messages that are not signed by Secure Chat or have been altered by the server will be marked. If there is no valid signature or signatures that are not valid will be classified as "Not Secure". Messages marked with "Modified" are messages that are detected to be modified.



- The colored indicator is always visible. icon is only visible when the chat screen is open



- For modified messages, the original secure text will be displayed in the tooltip



Chat Preview



Chat Preview option "When Sending" that updates chat previews only when you attempt to send a message. To confirm sending an email, you'll be required to press the Enter/Return key twice. - The "ON" setting was changed to "While Typing".



Player Reporting



Reporting a player who sends abusive messages to the game chat is now possible. The reporter must choose the chat messages with the objectionable content as well as the category of the complaint. This is to provide the best context for our moderation staff to take action. This can be done via the social interactions screen.



Multiple chat messages can be reported. Additional chat messages around this selection can also be used to give our moderation team further information.



The Report Categories screen includes a "Learn About Reporting" button that provides a help article

Suspensions & Bans



- The game will now display a notification screen at starting if you've been banned from online play. The reason for suspension is displayed as well as how long it lasts.



Realms



A message that has been filter through the Java Realms Profanity Filter now has an orange marker. Players will be notified when a chat message they send has been completely filtering for one of the Realm's players.



Technical



Chat input boxes will not be used for custom fonts that have negative advances or glyphs with advances greater than 32



Chat Types



- Chat types that were added to the chat_types Registry are now only used by chat players and not system messages. The game_info and chat types for system chat have been deleted



Chat types no longer support overlays. A system message should be used to display overlays



This chat type parameter is now used by msg_command_outgoing



Components



The run_command click event for text components has stopped messaging chat messages directly. just premium e Only commands are supported - This means that all values need to be /-prefixed - Commands that result in a signed player chat message are not allowed/tellraw should be used instead

Multiplayer Secure Chat Signing



Chat messages' order is now cryptographically verified. This is used to verify the context of chat messages in Player Reports



Server



enforce-secure-profile is now defaulted to true for dedicated servers - Insecure chat messages logged in the server are prefixed with a [Not Secure] tag - Custom servers can set their own auto-completion options for regular chat via a new network packet - Custom servers can hide player chat messages from display via a new network packet- This does not delete player chat messages from chat logs



Fixed bugs in 1.19.1



This update fixes more than 50 bugs. View the list on the issue tracker.



Get the Release



Open the Minecraft Launcher, and click on "Install the Release". Make sure your Launcher is set to the "Latest Release" option.
