Chris Oyakhilome Biography. The man, the mentor, the teacher and the charity philanthropist

Pastor of faith, faith healer TV host, author, Chris Oyakhilome, known by his followers as Pastor Chris, is the founder and president of LoveWorld Incorporated, also called Christ Embassy, located in Lagos, Nigeria. He has impressed millions of people across the globe with his unique interpretation of the Word of God.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a child of faith who was raised in a loving family and was supported by his parents. He is the oldest son of elder T.E Oyakhilome. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his education in Edo College. After a scholarship was awarded to pursue a degree in architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University) He earned the BSc degree in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science. He holds an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He was called from God to enter the ministry and serve the Lord.

The Man Of God was a student at University when he founded the church which would grow to be one of the largest in the world. His small prayer group, 'Youth For Christ', would quickly be one of the university's most well-known groups. They would later go on to become LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy with millions of followers.

The LoveWorld ministry, under the leadership of Pastor Chris was a pioneer for satellite television as well as Christian TV programming. LoveWorldSAT broadcast the first Christian television station that reaches from Africa to the rest of the world all the time via free-to-air networks. In the present, LoveWorld stations can be located on cable and satellite television networks across the globe.

Christ Embassy is present in Pastor Chris's native Nigeria as well as South Africa. It also has strong representations across the United Kingdom, Canada, United States, and South Africa. The Man, God, has created a number of NGOs with the aim to provide essential assistance and hope. COFI is supported by five partners, each of whom are dedicated to improving the living standard in the most remote areas.
