Pastor of faith, healer of the sick and author, Chris Oyakhilome is known to his fans as Pastor Chris. He is also the president of LoveWorld Incorporated. Also known as Christ Embassy. It is located in Lagos. His unique method of sharing God's Word inspired millions around the globe.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian who was born in December 63 in Edo State. He was raised by his parents, who are loving and caring. He is the eldest of three sons born to elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founding members of the Assemblies for God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her grace upon her son from an early age.


The LoveWorld ministry includes the entire family. Reverend Ken is his brother and the revered Pastor at Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church. He is also a part of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. Chris Oyakhilome Family Pastor Chris is blessed with two daughters, Charlene and Carissa Sharon. Carissa Sharon, also known by the name of CSO is a CSO member who has decided to follow in the footsteps of her father and share the Word of God the world. She is a gifted gospel singer who has won awards and is a member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome attended Edo College and was awarded a scholarship by Bendel State University to study architecture. He also has an honorary doctorate of divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He was called from God to enter the ministry and serve the Lord.

The Man of God began what would later be one of the biggest church congregations in the world when He was still a student at a university. It began with a small prayer group called 'Youth for Christ', which later grew into one of the most well-known organizations of its type on campus. It also served as the basis for the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated with millions of followers around the world.

Chris Oyakhilome Under Pastor Chris's guidance, the LoveWorld ministry was an innovator in satellite television and Christian television production and programming. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television channel to be broadcast 24/7 from Africa through free-to-air networks. There are LoveWorld television stations on satellite and cable networks all over the globe.

Oyakhilome Christ Embassy has a strong presence in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria. The church has two Healing Schools, based in South Africa and Canada, where Pastor Chris holds seasonal sessions where the power of God is demonstrated.

Music and Gospel Music play an integral part to worship. Pastor Chris supports Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry to train choirs. Many of these singers can develop into successful solo artists because of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's spirit and guidance.

The Future African Leaders Foundation (FALF) is an organization that focuses on continuing the inspiring work of Pastor Chris. Its purpose is to recognize and support the extraordinary accomplishments of talented, young leaders. Pastor Chris invests in the young people of today to help them become the leaders of the future.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome founded the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation Internet (COFI), an international non-profit corporation. The organization's goal is to assist those who are most vulnerable and communities in certain countries and regions of poverty across the globe.

The Man, God, has created a number of NGOs with the aim to provide essential services and hope. The five COFI partners have the same goal: to raise living standards and enhance the quality of life in the least developed areas.

COFI manages the InnerCity Mission, ICM for Children as well as the Volunteer Medical Corps and Trauma International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation , and the Bible For All Mission. Chris Oyakhilome Family Each of these groups strives to improve wellbeing, health and spirits of the most vulnerable.

His charitable organization also provides food to children in need. Pastor Chris believes that strong communities are fostered by COFI and The InnerCity Mission. This encourages accountability and good governance. It also supports sustainable development in Africa as well as other vulnerable areas of the world, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
