Free Mario download for Minecraft players

Mario is moving from one computer-generated world to another as Mario makes his debut in Minecraft.
A new update for the Wii U version will bring Mario, Luigi and Wario, Toad, Princess Peach along with numerous other Super Mario Bros characters, to the game starting next Tuesday.
The best part is that the colorful characters are free in this age of costly downloadable content.

The Mario pack will bring more than just characters to the pixelated world of Minecraft.

Players can also change the textures and items and fight blockier versions of Hammer Bros. and Dry Bones from the Mario world, all set to the soothing sounds of classic music from Super Mario 64.
Fans can create their own locations from Mario-themed Minecraft blocks, before exploring new worlds featuring classic faces (albeit a little more sharp) from one of the most renowned games in the history of gaming.
A disc-based Minecraft for Wii U version, including all Mario extras is expected to be released in June.
Minecraft has sold more than 70 million copies worldwide and is the third-highest-priced video game ever.
