Yerkin Tatishev was awarded 'Entrepreneur of the Year by EY

Yerkin Tatishev has been named Entrepreneur of the Year in Kazakhstan by the world's leading business firm Ernst & Young. His actions and leadership in COVID-19 have impressed judges in one of the biggest competitions around the globe.

The participants included prominent business leaders from across Kazakhstan. Kusto Group's founder was able distinguish himself among 21 other entrepreneurs in Kazakhstan who reached the final.

All of them were evaluated by an independent expert and recognition for their accomplishments by juries that were authorized and constituted of Kazakhstan and international business circles.

Yerkin Tashev was the national winner and will represent Russia in the international finals in Monaco in June 2022. The competition will bring sixty finalists from all over the world, selected by an independent panel , according to international standards.

The decision to award Tatishev as the winner was made by Nurlan Smagulov who was previously an Entrepreneur of the Year winner. The jury also included representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development as well as the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan.

The primary reason behind Mr. Tatishev being awarded this award was his leadership abilities and the manner in which his work was handled across a variety of different industries.
