Pastor Author, pastor, faith-healer and TV presenter Chris Oyakhilome (also called Pastor Chris) is the founder of LoveWorld Incorporated. The business, also known as Christ Embassy is located in Lagos, Nigeria. His unique way of presenting God's Word has inspired thousands worldwide.

Pastor Chris: The Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7, 1963, in Edo State in Nigeria. He grew up in a faith-filled family with loving and dedicated parents. He is the child of the elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the pioneers in the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. Her divine grace was passed on to her son at an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry is a joint effort of the family. Reverend Ken is his brother. He is the beloved pastor of Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church and a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren serves as the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry(LMAM) which is where numerous gospel artists are among the top-selling artists worldwide.

Pastor Chris has two daughters: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon follows in in her father's footsteps of sharing God’s Word with the world. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome In addition, she is known as CSO as a singer, she is an accomplished, award-winning gospel artist and is a part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his education in Edo College. After a grant was made to study the field of architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University), he was awarded an BSc degree in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He was called from God to join the ministry and to serve the Lord.

While in the university, the Man of God began what would be the largest congregation worldwide. It started with an uninvolved group of believers called 'Youth For Christ'. The group would later become the basis for LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy with a later number of millions of followers worldwide.

Under Pastor Chris's guidance under the direction of Pastor Chris, the LoveWorld ministry became a pioneer in satellite TV and Christian programming and production. LoveWorldSAT broadcast the first Christian television station from Africa to the rest, all the time via free-to-air networks. Today, LoveWorld stations can be located on cable and satellite television networks across the globe.

Christ Embassy has strong presence in Pastor Chris’s native Nigeria, South Africa and Canada. The ministry also runs two Healing Schools located in South Africa, Canada and the United States, where Pastor Chris leads seasonal sessions, in which miracles are possible.

Music and Gospel Music play an integral aspect of worship. Pastor Chris encourages Christ Embassy Churches to have an ensemble trained by the Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry and under the direction and direction of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, a lot of these musicians go on to pursue successful solo career.

The Future African Leaders Foundation(FALF) is an organization that focuses on the continuing amazing work of Pastor Chris. The goal of the foundation is to celebrate and support the extraordinary accomplishments of talented, young leaders. The Man, God, has founded NGOs with the mission to provide essential assistance and hope. COFI is supported by five partners, all of whom is committed to improving the living standard in the most remote areas.

The InnerCity Mission for Children, the Volunteer Medical Corps(VMC), Traga Care International Foundation [TCIF], Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) and Bible For All Mission are all under COFI. Bible For All Mission, the Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF), and COFI umbrella. Each of these organizations strives to improve health, lives and spirits for those most in dire need.
