Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a family of faith and loving, devoted parents. He is the elder of three sons who was born to elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founders of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her faith in God upon her son from a young age.
The LoveWorld ministry includes all members of the family. His brother Reverend Ken (the revered pastor of Christ Embassy Houston, Texas Church) and a member Christ Embassy Central Executive Council are his two sisters. KattyWorghiren, the director of LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is the home of several international best-selling gospel musicians.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his studies at Edo College. He is also a doctoral honorary from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. Ambrose Ali University was the place where he sensed God calling him to become a minister for the Lord.

When he was still in university, the Man of God founded what would be one of the largest churches worldwide. Today, LoveWorld stations can be located on cable and satellite TV networks around the world.
Christ Embassy is present in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria and South Africa. It also has strong representations across the United Kingdom, Canada, United States, and South Africa. The church operates two Healing Schools that are located in South Africa and Canada, where Pastor Chris organizes seasonal sessions during which miracles are performed.
Music and Gospel Music are integral parts of the worship. Pastor Chris is adamant Christ Embassy Churches that a choir be taught through Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry. Many of these vocal talent go on to enjoy great solo careers under the guidance of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.

The Man, God, has established a variety of non-profit organizations with the goal to provide vital assistance and hope. COFI is a partnership with five other organizations who have a common goal of raising the standard of living in the areas that are the least developed.
COFI is the responsible organization for the InnerCity Mission ICM for Children as well as the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC, Traumacare International Foundation TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF), along with the Bible For All Mission. Each of these groups strives to improve well-being, health, and spirits, especially those most at risk.
