Pastor, faith healer, writer, and TV host, Chris Oyakhilome is known to his followers as Pastor Chris, is the founder and president of LoveWorld Incorporated, also called Christ Embassy, located in Lagos, Nigeria. His unique and inspiring interpretation of God’s Word has inspired millions all over the world.

Pastor Chris: The Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th 1963, in Edo State in Nigeria. He grew up in a faith-filled family with loving, dedicated parents. He was the oldest of four children of the elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the pioneers of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina the matriarch of the Oyakhilome family who imprinted her divine grace on her son from a young age.

The LoveWorld ministry is actively supported by all members of the family. Reverend Ken is Ken's brother , and a an active member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren (KattyWorghiren) is the director at the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry. This organization has many gospel artists that are the top-selling worldwide.

Pastor Chris has two daughters: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon is following to follow the path of her father of sharing the Gospel of God to the world. Also known as CSO, she is a gospel singer who has won awards and is a part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome received his education in Edo College. He then won an award to study architecture at Bendel State University. He also has an honorary doctorate in divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. While at Ambrose Ali University, he received a call from God to join the ministry and become an ambassador for the Lord.

The Man of God, while still in university, began what would become one the most influential churches in the world. A small group of prayer known as Youth for Christ’ was established. It would evolve to become one of the largest and most popular institutions on campus. LoveWorld Incorporated would follow millions of people with the foundation of Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated.

Chris Oyakhilome Family Under Pastor Chris's leadership, LoveWorld became a pioneer of satellite television and Christian programming. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television station to broadcast from Africa to the rest of the world, 24 hours a day, all the time on free-to-air channels. There are currently LoveWorld television stations available across satellite and cable networks across the world.

Chris Oyakhilome Christ Embassy has a strong presence throughout Pastor Chris's native Nigeria. The ministry has two healing schools, which are based in South Africa.

Music and Gospel Music play an integral aspect of worship. Pastor Chris encourages Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry choir training. Many of these singers are successful soloists under the guidance of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's supervision.

The Future African Leaders Foundation concentrates its efforts on continuing the ministry of Pastor Chris. It's aimed at developing and recognizing young leaders, and training them to be successful in the coming years. Pastor Chris is investing in today's youngsters to enable them to become leaders of tomorrow.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome created the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation Internet (COFI) which is an international non-profit organisation. Its mission is to help the most vulnerable individuals and communities in some countries and regions of poverty all over the world.

In addition to proclaiming the gospel, The Man of God also established NGOs which are tasked with providing essential services and hope for the needy, poor or neglected. COFI's five partners all have a common aim: to raise living standards and enhance the quality of life in the least developed regions.
